Why do you need to surrender the animal? *

Mercy Rescue & Adoption is run entirely by volunteers and foster families. Because we do not have a paid staff or unlimited space, the number of animals we can care for at one time is limited. We do our very best to help as many as we can, but placement depends on available foster homes and resources.
Things you can do if we can not take your animal:

Post on community pages and lost & found pet groups on Facebook or Nextdoor (include photos and location).
Create flyers and post them in your neighborhood, vet offices, feed stores, and community boards.
Check for a microchip at a vet clinic or shelter if the animal is found.
Work with friends, family, or neighbors who might be able to provide temporary foster care.
Contact local veterinarians who may know of clients looking to adopt or rehome.
